27th September 2017 - Wednesday

Today we had decided it was going to be the shopping day! The weather was a bit more warmer and humid today. We got the subway to Houston Place, and found the shops which were nearby. We stopped by for a coffee on the way!

Kathryn brough a new bag, and I got some t-shirts and a baseball cap. We stopped for a refreshing drink as it was so hot. We had to make sure we were going in and out of shops fairly regularly.

We then went back to the hotel, during the afternoon, for the first time on the whole holiday virtually. We had a rest and then headed over to Penn Station to meet Smiti after she finished work.

It was still quite hot, but we wondered over to the high line and then walked the length of it. We then had dinner at a nice place at the other end before heading home.
